Warranty Information
RIVCO Industries is an American company, with American craftsmen manufacturing products of the highest quality - and your satisfaction is our only goal. We are proud to offer an industry exclusive - our one-year limited warranty extended to two years from the date of invoice, on all our products including chrome plating. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable, and we will replace or repair products at our option.
Products must be returned to RIVCO Industries for inspection for determination of repair, replacement or credit. Any product to be evaluated for a possible defect must be delivered to RIVCO Industries at the ownerās expense and accompanied by a copy of the purchase receipt, or other acceptable proof of purchase. A Return Merchandise Authorization number must first be obtained by calling our customer service department, toll-free at (888) 801-8222 Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. ā 4:30 p.m. CST. Items returned to us without a RMA number visible on the outside of the package may be refused and returned to you at your expense. If a returned item is determined to be defective in material and/or workmanship within the first 2 years of ownership, it will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of RIVCO Industries, and the customer is responsible for return freight charges. Any item returned for evaluation and found NOT to be defective under the terms of our warranty, will be returned to the customer at their expense. No matter what the outcome, you will be notified of our decision.
Improper installation, modification and/or misuse of our products void all warranties. No replacement will be shipped prior to receipt of the return for inspection and determination of qualification of warranty. We make every effort to ship replacement parts as soon as possible, but please note that delays may sometimes occur due to manufacturing schedules. Credits or refunds will be issued only for the value of the item and no credit will be issued for labor or any other cost incurred beyond the original cost of the part. RIVCO is not responsible for failure of any product that results from normal wear and tear, misuse, modification or improper installation. Returns must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number clearly marked on the outside of the package. See RMA section of these policies (above) for more information.
1 Year Limited Chrome Warranty:
Chroming is a complicated manufacturing process. Slight aberrations in the chrome finish do not mean you have a flawed accessory. If, after inspection you don't agree, or if the chrome is seriously flawed then of course, give us a call. Our standard chrome warranty is for a period of 1 year, extended to 2 years from date of invoice with registration, for workmanship or defects, as long as proper chrome maintenance has been done. Corrosion defects does not cover pitting or bubbling caused by salt, harsh chemicals, abrasives or road damage, and are not covered by warranty. RIVCO Industries does not cover any shop fees associated with replacing your chrome. Parts must be returned to RIVCO for inspection for determination of repair, replacement or credit. Again: Misuse, improper installation, and/or modification of our product void all warranties. No credit will be issued for labor or any other cost incurred beyond the original cost of the part. Inspection:
All items returned for warranty consideration are subject to inspection. RIVCO reserves the right to inspect all parts related to a warranty claim and to refuse any warranty claim upon inspection of said parts. No replacement products will be shipped prior to receipt and inspection of any product for warranty request.
Non-Warranty Return Policy:
No item will be considered for return/refund/credit after 2 years past original invoice date. Original invoice must accompany the return. RIVCO reserves the right to inspect all parts related to a return request and to refuse any claim upon inspection of said parts. A re-stocking fee of 20% will be charged to all Non-Warranty Returns. Merchandise may not be returned for credit unless purchased directly from RIVCO. Returns must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number clearly marked on the outside of the package. PLEASE NOTE: The installation of any accessory may change the original characteristics of your motorcycle (i.e. weight distribution, ground clearance, etc.) and must be carefully considered.
RIVCO Industries shall not be held responsible for incidental damage or any associated costs resulting from the use, installation or removal of our products, inconvenience or loss of use of the accessory or vehicle on which it is installed or intended, customer negligence, carelessness or any other circumstance beyond our control. The customer agrees to this by installing or having our accessories installed.
