Made from strong aircraft quality aluminum, then powder coated in a silver finish, the QD1000 rack weighs only 3 pounds. Removing the rack is as easy as pulling two pins and sliding it out of the HWK015 or HWK020 receiver brackets (sold separately).
Our RB100 weather resistant bag fits perfectly on the 11” x 16” rack and our RBDL dowel lock rods keep the RB100 securely locked to the QD1000 allowing access to items in the RB100, without removing bungees. The QD1000 also accepts bungee cords or NETS to hold down small to medium coolers and other travel bags.
Although the QD1000 rack is strong enough to support the weight of a grown man without bending, we recommended no more than a 35-pound load to avoid adversely affecting the maneuverability of your motorcycle. Increase your visibility by adding our CRLGHT rack-mounted light plate (sold separately).
