Refund and Returns Policy

Warranty

RIVCO offers a one year limited warranty (extended to two year with registration) from the date of invoice, on

all products that are manufactured by RIVCO. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not

transferable.

 

Products must be returned to RIVCO for inspection for determination of repair, replacement or credit. Any

product to be evaluated for a possible defect must be delivered to RIVCO at the ownerā€™s expense and

accompanied by a copy of the purchase receipt, or other acceptable proof of purchase. A Return Goods

Authorization number must first be obtained by calling our customer service department, toll-free at (888) 801-

8222 Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. ā€“ 3:30 p.m. CST. If a returned item is determined to be defective in

material and/or workmanship within the allotted warranty period, it will be repaired or replaced at the discretion

of RIVCO. The customer is responsible for return freight charges. Any item returned for evaluation and found

NOT to be defective under the terms of our warranty, will be returned to the customer at their expense.

 

No replacement will be shipped prior to receipt of the return for inspection and determination of qualification of

warranty. We make every effort to ship replacement parts as soon as possible, but please note that delays

may sometimes occur due to manufacturing schedules. Credits or refunds will be issued only for the value of

the item and no credit will be issued for labor or any other cost incurred beyond the original cost of the part.

RIVCO is not responsible for failure of any product that results from normal wear and tear, misuse, modification

or improper installation. Improper installation, modification and/or misuse of our products void all warranties.

 

Returns must have a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number clearly marked on the outside of the package.

Items returned to us without a RGA number visible on the outside of the package may be refused and

returned to you at your expense

 

RIVCO Chrome Warranty:

Chroming is a complicated manufacturing process. Slight aberrations in the chrome finish do not mean you

have a flawed accessory. If you receive a product that you feel that the chrome is seriously flawed, give us a

call. Our standard chrome warranty is a period of one year limited warranty (extended to two year with

registration on all products manufactured by RIVCO) from date of invoice, for workmanship or defects, as long

as proper chrome maintenance has been done. Corrosion defects does not cover pitting or bubbling caused by

salt, harsh chemicals, abrasives or road damage, and are not covered by warranty. RIVCO does not cover any

shop fees associated with removal or installation of parts. Parts must be returned to RIVCO for inspection and.

Inspection:

All items returned for warranty consideration are subject to inspection. RIVCO reserves the right to inspect all

parts related to any warranty claims and to refuse any warranty claim upon inspection of said parts. No

replacement products will be shipped prior to receipt and inspection of any product for warranty request. After

inspection has been completed, RIVCO will determine whether a repair, replacement or credit will be issued.

Credits or refunds will be issued only for the value of the item and only if part was purchased directly from

RIVCO. No credit will be issued for labor or any other cost incurred beyond the original cost of the part

 

Non-Warranty Return Policy:

Items must be purchased from RIVCO directly. Ā No item will be considered for return/refund/credit after 15 days past original invoice date. Original invoice must accompany the return. RIVCO reserves the right to inspect all parts related to a return request and to refuse

any claim upon inspection of said parts. A re-stocking fee of 20% will be charged to all Non-Warranty Returns.

Merchandise may not be returned for credit unless purchased directly from RIVCO. Returns must have a

us without a RGA number visible on the outside of the package may be refused and returned to you at

your expense
